Shockwave therapy involves the use of high-energy sound waves that are directed at damaged tissues to promote healing. It works by stimulating the body's natural healing processes, promoting the growth of new blood vessels (vascularisation) and tissue regeneration.
Shockwave therapy is one of the most effective and widely used accepted clinical practices for the treatment of chronic soft tissue injuries. It has been found to be very effective in reducing pain and improving recovery times.
It is widely used by osteopaths, physiotherapists and other medical professionals to treat chronic conditions involving tendons, muscles and even bones, that have failed to recover through other conservative interventions.

We take a patient centred approach and will create a treatment plan designed to get you pain free and recovered in as short a time as possible.
Your treatment will be carried out by a qualified osteopath who understands medical issues and is trained to ascertain your medical history to ensure that the therapy is appropriate for you.
